To advance ladies’ golf interest in Singapore.

| MISSION |
| To encourage and promote interest in golf for ladies in Singapore through: |
| (a) |
promoting the SLGA Amateur Golf Championship and any other championship meetings or golf meetings in the Republic of Singapore but excluding Club Championship. |
| (b) |
promoting representative matches against other countries |
| (c) |
working as far as possible in co-operation with and to maintain liaison with similar Associations of other countries. |
| (d) |
upholding the Rules of Golf as approved for the time being by the Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St. Andrews, subject to such local rules as fall within the Recommendations for Local rules made by the Rules of Golf Committee, or are necessary to meet climatic conditions. |
| (e) |
means whereby disputes and differences concerning golf in Singapore may be settled. |
| (f) |
obtaining affiliation with International Golf Societies and other organisations established for the promotion of the sport. |
| (g) |
raising and administering funds for the furtherance of the above objects. |
| (h) |
doing all other things which the Association considers necessary or desirable in the interest of its members. |
| (i) |
encouraging all Clubs to embark on a solid Junior Programme to realize potentials. |
